Accounts Payable Clerks _Remote Role

<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join a leading global foodservice distribution company. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payments in a high-volume environment.</p> <strong>Rate of Pay- $28.21/hr<br> Term: Temporary for 3-4 months<br> Remote Position</strong><br> <br> Qualifications/Skills:<br> <br> •    3 to 5 years business experience in a computerized environment with knowledge of Accounts Payable and General Ledger functions.<br> •    Post-secondary education preferably in Finance/Accounting<br> •    <strong>Knowledge of working with AS400 </strong><br> •    Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook<br> •    Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks<br> •    Ability to establish priority and work under pressure to meet deadlines<br> •    Possess a keen attention to detail and strive towards service excellence<br> •    Self-motivated with the ability to consistently show initiative<br> •    Effective team player<br> <br> Responsibilities:<br> <br> •    Ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices<br> •    Monitor vendor terms to ensure discounts are taken correctly<br> •    Ensure all PO’s pricing and quantities discrepancies are followed up with Merchandising and Inventory control departments.<br> •    Reconciliation of supplier statements and follow up on vendors inquiries<br> •    Ensure all expense invoices are coded and processed timely according to FAMM<br> •    Reconciliation and processing of Intercompany statements and Invoices <br> •    Reconciliation of weekly Central Billing statements.<br> •    Process of EDI invoices.<br> •    Preparation and process of debit notes.<br> •    Other related duties as assigned.<br> <br> We thank all those that apply however only qualified candidates will be contacted.
