Account Manager - Toronto

H-Power is TK Elevator’s modernization package for hydraulic elevators. With more than 30 performance-optimizing features, it replaces the elevator’s most critical components to improve reliability, performance, safety, and code compliance.

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced H-Power Sales Representative - Modernization in Toronto

Responsible for successfully bidding and securing H-Power modernization contracts and developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers so that modernization jobs are completed profitably, and the branch meets annual revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Successfully prepares H-Power modernization bids and executes campaign modernization sales.
  • Determines customer needs and develops sales strategies to communicate Company H-Power modernization offerings to customers.
  • Establishes contact with prospects and qualifies potential buyers of H-Power contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Builds strong customer relationships; maintains market awareness of projects and competitors.
  • Partners with customers to develop multi-year capital modernization plans, helping them prioritize investments and proactively address equipment lifecycle needs.
  • Presents bids to customers and explains cost factors, emphasizing characteristics such as construction, performance, durability, and appearance of equipment. Demonstrates technical knowledge of beneficial H-Power features.
  • Conducts customer follow-up on all proposals.
  • Upon the customer’s acceptance, coordinates submittal packages through the approval process and creates change orders as requested.
  • Visits project sites when necessary and works with the operations department to ensure customers’ needs and deadlines are being met.
  • Maintains strong familiarity with company products by attending company training classes and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of business-to-business sales experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail with proactive follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, team members, and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Salesforce experience. (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or blueprint/drawings. (preferred)
